Volunteers

Our Volunteers have an opportunity to directly experience the inner workings of our projects.  They get the chance to work with our library and community programs as well as branch out to work with other organizations in Jamaica.  Roger Marek from Switzerland worked with the Northern Caribbean University for a couple of weeks and was able to experience our summer school program.  Meggan Bonini from Oregon made an impact on our children in the community and experienced the relationships of family and friends in the District.  Belle and Alicia from California was on hand during the Grand Opening of the Library.  They experienced the dynamics of rural life and also got to be tourists with their own personal tour guides.  We look forward to welcoming other volunteers to the little district with the big program.
